Is it proper etiquette to use a laser printer to print personalized thank-you notes, or should you handwrite.?
It should be emphasized that all the notes are personalized – they aren’t "form" thank-you notes. It’s just that it seems to look a lot ‘cleaner’ when laser-printed as opposed to pen and ink. But is that considered bad form, even though handwriting looks, well, a little less legible and clean.
Handwritten is the way to go with something like thank-you notes. Putting them on the computer implies extra-convenience, which implies you find thank-you-notes altogether an INconvenience. If you’re concerned about your handwriting, print instead of using cursive – I don’t think people will fault you for that. Take your time, invest in nice paper and a GOOD pen – a shoddy pen can make a big difference in how your product looks. People took the time to get something for you or do something for you (or whatever you’re thanking them for), the least you can do is take the time to write them a note.

PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aha, you are doing a marketing assignment and need help with your submission.
Q1. Service offering. List the above services. 2nd part of Q re needs – Thank you’s, remembering anniversaries, gifts, tourist souvenirs. Work on more ideas.
Q2 Purchasers – People on business trip, mother’s day, anniversary presents, valentine’s day, birthday’s, farewell presents. Why from you?? Your uniqueness for one, value for money another. Impulse buyers will be the majority of your customers. Your products will fulfill your customers’ needs.
Q3 Eye catching packaging and displays to get the impulse-buyers attention. Particularly at point-of-sale in pharmacies, gift shops, chain stores, malls, airport departure and arrival lounges, barrow type stalls, word-of-mouth, school or church bazaars.
Q4 Financial resources. First you need to work out how much you need. It sounds like you can start as a home-based indusrty and expand into larger premises later. No good in starting out big and then failing. Suggest you start with a loan from your father, spouse or relative, and plow all sales back into the business. Offer them a small share in the business. Such share must be in proportion to their loan. Do not pay out any dividends in the first year or two. Work out the amount of working capital you need. Once your business is succesful, expand your working capital needs by approaching your local bank manager who will help you with setting up a SME.
Good Luck
How do I keep paint on plastic (i.e bottles, picture frames, etc.)( without chipping or peeling off?
I have a small business that personalizes different items like clear plastic picture frames, key chains, sports water bottles, bulletin boards, etc. I have been using paint pens on plastic, however after it dries, I can peal it off. Any suggestions?
